COWBOY AUCTION!
Our auction on June 15th will implement a new style auction
format known as a, COWBOY AUCTION!
There will be no live auctioneer cry. All sale lots will be
started at a minimum acceptable base price. (Example: $125)
The bidding console displayed to approved Internet Buyers
will display a single toggle button labeled, NUMBER IN.
As an example, the sale administrator will announce the
starting selling-base price of a sale lot # at $125. If you
choose to bid on this lot, click on the NUMBER IN button.
Once you have bid, the toggle button will change to NUMBER
OUT!
The sale administrator will announce an added increment to
the base-selling price starting at $125. As an example, he
will announce, who is in at $150? Who is in at $175? Who is
in at $200.
The bidding increments will increase until only one bidder
is left. The single remaining bidder purchases the lot being
sold.
Once the increment price increases to an amount you are
unwilling to pay, simply click on the NUMBER OUT button. You
are now out of the bidding. The toggle button will now show
NUMBER IN.
If you bid on a lot and decide to quit bidding, you still
have an option to get back into the bidding before the lot
is sold.
This type of bidding process is very simple! There are no
questions as to where the actual bid is at any given time!

GERLACH DELIVERY:
• Pigs will need to be removed from the farm by June 22. Contact Rick if you need to hold
pigs in our isolation facility until you can pick them up.
• Gerlach Show Pigs will help in the delivery of the pigs you
purchase in our sale.
• We can help in arranging shipment to Sacramento, CA (You will
need to setup a meeting point along I-80), and Little Rock, Arkansas - going through Oklahoma
City.
• If you plan on purchasing using the live internet bidding
and wish to have your purchase delivered - Email or call Rick at

We will work with you on getting your pigs delivered. We
will have email access before, during and after the sale!

View the auction live! Bid online…you’re ringside
right at your own desk! We are pleased to offer
the Gerlach Show Pig Sale broadcast “live” over the Internet through
DVAuction Services. To bid from your computer at home during the
sale, complete this simple two step process.
(1) Visit the DVAuction web site at
www.dvauction.com. Register by entering a User Name
and
Password. Then enter your personal
information on the next screen.
(2) Click on “My Profile” and fill out the
banking and lending information requested. Click on “Apply to Bid”
and select Gerlach Show Pig Sale from the
list of sales and click “Apply.”
DVAuction will contact you to let you know that you have been
approved to bid and buy at the sale “live” from your computer at
home. We will also provide you with a buyer number for the sale.
After the sale you will need to contact Gerlach Inc. to make
arrangements for payment of your on-line purchases. You will need to
include a small buyer’s premium of 5% of the purchase price when
making settlement. If you purchased an animal for $1,000 over the
Internet, you would make payment of $1,050 to Gerlach Inc.
You will also need to contact Gerlach Inc. to make arrangements for
the pick up or delivery of your pigs purchased through the DVAuction broadcast.
Note: You must have high speed internet access (DSL, T-1, or
Broadband) to be able to bid during the sale. Any questions, please
